It is now possible to get divorced in Chile.
Full Legal Divorces where recently introduced in to the Chilean Legal System. Because of the delays associated with implementation of these divorce laws, there are many people in Chile and around the World married under Chilean law that have often waited years for a formal divorce.
Divorce under Chilean law is still not simple, and requires a good deal of care in dealing with the required separation time before a divorce will be granted and with preparing the documents and other procedures in court.
