Our services in family law are mainly oriented to international aspects of divorce, custody, alimony and child support involving foreign citizens or foreign jurisdictions that include a Chilean citizens, marriage, children, or Chilean jurisdictional elements. We also provide expert counsel to foreigners in Chile with regards to their rights in family matters and mixed Chilean marriages.

Our services range from short-term and emergency matters such as custodial and child support agreements under Chilean Law, through the process of recognition of a foreign divorce decrees obtained in other jurisdictions so as to be enforceable in Chile. We are also frequently called on to assist our clients' other legal council in foreign jurisdictions with understanding Chilean law, or providing expert witness support to foreign courts and authorities when international divorce and child custody issues span multiple jurisdictions.
